£35.00
Paintings, research, texts and archival imagery on the Florence flood of 1966. Perimetri Perduti was the first of Cass’ projects to introduce clear commentary on environmental issues. While his work has always used recycled and sustainable materials, this project saw his physical working process applied to concepts related to change.
Featuring texts from: Robert Clark, Patricia Emison, David Hewson, Candia McWilliam & Giles Waterfield. The book also features first-hand accounts from Mud Angels who travelled to Florence to help clean and salvage.
The project started in mid 2013, the book designed in 2015, and finally printed and launched in 2016 & 2017 in The Fruitmarket Gallery (Edinburgh), and the British Institute (Florence), to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the flood.
A digital version of the book can be supplied on request at a cost of 5.00GBP
